Just choose the ‘Publish Later’ option at the time of journey creation and add the details as shown below.

Journey scheduling can save you a lot of time and the hassle of manually setting up a journey at odd hours. And you won’t forget to schedule your journeys on a busy workday.

Plus, scheduling can help you plan out a great marketing strategy, as you can schedule journeys days or weeks in advance and meaningfully engage your customers while maximizing conversions.

Here’s how to schedule your journeys using Journey Designer

Here is a step-by-step guide to help you get started with scheduling journeys.

Step 1: Once you are satisfied with building your journey, click the 'Publish Now’ button and select 'Publish Later' from the drop-down menu. 

Step 2: Now, add your custom start date and end dates and hit ‘Schedule Journey’ and you’re done!

How can you leverage journey scheduling for your business?

Journey scheduling can facilitate various time-sensitive campaigns like flash sales, limited-time offers, and other seasonal campaigns like Christmas, Diwali, etc.

With the new feature, you can plan and schedule your journeys in advance and avoid the last-minute rush of setting up journeys just before the campaign is due.

Let’s say you run an E-commerce app/website and you want to run a flash sale for a limited time starting from 10th October 2021 to 15th October 2021. Now, you wish to send communication to shoppers for a specified time when the flash sale is live and encourage them to make a purchase.

Using the journey scheduling feature, you can design a journey by adding a custom start date (10th October 2021) and end date (15th October 2021) to make sure the shoppers receive the communication only during the specified time and don’t miss out on making the most out of the flash sale.
