Heart on our sleeve

Contributing to charitable organizations on behalf of attendees has been a long-standing tradition at MozCon and we're honoured to keep this tradition alive for our 2022 conference. Mozzers picked two of their favourite environmental stewardship focused charities and for every 2022 ticket sold, MozCon will be making a charitable donation. Thanks for being generous and helping us support these two incredible organizations:

Washington Trails Association: WTA mobilizes hikers and everyone who loves the outdoors to explore, steward and champion trails and public lands.

North Cascades Institute: NCI's mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through transformative learning experiences in nature.

Visiting Seattle

Between finding fresh seafood at Pike Place Market, visiting the iconic Space Needle, and sampling the booming craft beer scene, there is plenty to see, taste, and experience while on your trip. Perhaps you'll see orcas on your ferry ride to Bainbridge Island? Maybe enjoying the sunshine at a Sounders game is more your style? Seattle has it all, and we're excited to show you around. Plan my trip.

Getting Around

From Sea-Tac Airport

Light Rail

Seattle's light rail is the easiest (and at ~ $2.25 - $3.25 per trip, the cheapest) way to get downtown from the airport. It'll take a little longer than a car — generally around 40-60 minutes — but if you're not in a hurry, it's a great option. Follow signs at the airport to the station. Get off at the Westlake Center stop and follow signs to the Pike Street East exit.

Get a Ride
You can also find plenty of taxis, towncars, limos, and rideshare services like Shuttle Express, Uber, Lyft, or Sidecar, ready to take you into Seattle. Cab fare to downtown typically runs $50 and takes 25-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Amtrak and the Bolt Bus get you here, too
You can also take Amtrak or the Bolt Bus to Seattle. Schedule, costs, and time all vary depending on your departure dates and locations. Both drop you off at King Street Station where it's a few blocks to the underground Pioneer Square light rail station. Ride north two stops to Westlake Center. Follow signs to the Pike Street East exit.
